Mum had another friend visiting us this week. November seems to be the visiting time!!! We were delighted this time to host Soda. He met mum while they were both working for UNICEF in Copenhagen, Denmark exactly 20 years ago.
Soda is originally from Bombay, India and has emigrated to the US many years ago. Mum admires his determination but me, little Xin Fa, I liked showing him what a real snow storm looks like in Canada. In fact, he arrived on Wednesday when the storm had started. Soda was wise enough to rent a good 4x4 when he came out of the plane in Montreal. Not having driven on a slippery road before, he still made it safe and sound to our home late that night.
Soda like Canada but he gets cold easily, his body his even more tropicalised than mom`s one because he was born "with sunshine" and is not immune to cold!!!
We went for long walks everyday, snow or shine. As he is a good sport, he joined in. He was even very kind to Ulysse!!!
Last night, he cooked a delicious not too spicy Indian chicken for us and my grand parents. We had fun, ate like little "p". Our toungues were not too much in fire after the meal. Mum took the recipee down so he can prepare Indian food for me in the near future.
Thanking you Soda for your visit, we hope you come back again, one day.
